About the event
In the first workshop, we will look at genre mash-ups and how we can use them to our advantage in the ever-evolving world of commercial fiction. By combining women’s fiction and suspense, we are fusing relationship-focused narratives with visceral, intensity-driven tension.
We will explore elements of both genres with examples analysing how mash-ups can be effective.
