Join us for an immersive ‘get to know the Allen Park Precinct’, an area clasified by the National Trust and home to the Fellowship of Australia Writers WA and the Melon Hill Bushland Group.
Come along to discover the literary and cultural heritage of this fascinating precinct, including its three quaint cottages - Tom Collins House and Mattie Furphy House - where writers from all walks of life gather to create with words, plus Tom Fricker Cottage, where the Melon Hill Bushland Group meet.
Walk with us to the top of Melon Hill, guided by members of the bushland group, to soak up the natural surroundings and be inspired with your own writing, sketching and journaling.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature, history and fellow writers — while raising vital funds to support the Fellowship of Australian Writers WA and its work…
