Camelia E Nazri
University of Western Australia
Hello! I’m Camelia Ellesha Nazri, and I’m a Linguistics student from The University of Western Australia. When I was younger I used to read many books including those from the Barbara Park’s Junie B. Jones collection and Enid Blyton’s Malory Towers series, then I came to love the mystery novels of Agatha Christie.
Throughout my studies I have taken a few creative writing classes, though found that I enjoyed my
journalism unit the most. Following the end of my studies, I hope to apply my knowledge of language into areas where I could make a
positive impact on people, such as through translation or documentation of endangered languages in my home region of Southeast Asia.
